Cateye light

I have a Cateye TL-LD 1100 rear light, the batteries have leaked and now the light will not work, is it knackered or will it dry out eventually?

    It's probably OK. I've found lights to be pretty resilient against that sort of damage.

    If fluid has leaked onto the battery terminals you might get a problem if it dries and hardens which will stop the battery making contact.
    If you can I would try and wipe the contacts with a tissue to give them a bit of a clean before it dries - might be easier said than done depending on the light.
