Hi folks,
Just had a new bike delivered and as I was giving the front wheel a spin I noticed that there I something loose inside that falls to the bottom of the wheel as it rotates. All of the spokes seem tight, the wheel runs true so any idea what it could be? For reference they are the Supra RA30 by Sensa and the bike was bought via Merlin.

I have not been outside on it yet, was hoping to this weekend, ice permitting.....

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried taking the tyre and inner tube off to have a look?

  • If it's a brand new wheel then it will be a small metallic rim fragment either from the join or from the valve hole cut-out.

You need to remove the rim tape/strip near the location of the rattle and shake the rim until it falls out of the spoke hole.
