This was a great ride yesterday, completing 106 miles start to finish.

Highly recommend this area for anybody looking for routes, quiet country lanes, great views and some nice hills to work your legs.
The weather was just right, wore the perfect amount of clothes meant i wasnt too hot and couldnt feel the cold. Shame the roads were wet, but they werent slippery!

Been meaning to head over that way from my home county of Wiltshire. Used to work in Oxfordshire so recall the area around the horse quite well. Thanks for the tip, just need to get my mileage up a little...

Uffington White Horse hill slaughtered me the last time I went up it - also happened to be my first time - took the first steep section far too hard, underestimating the difficulty of the remaining section!

That area is nice though, and its almost completely flat to ride out to there from Oxford which is perfect for getting some easy miles in.
  • How many KM's does that work out at as? Am I right in thinking around 160? If so, respect! Sounds like a killer trip

Used to love going up White Horse Hill when I lived up that way. Mainly because there was always an ice cream van in the car park at the top :)
