I am looking at buying my first carbon road bike. I have spotted the Peugeot cr01 for £1100 discounted from £2000. I can not find any reviews, does anyone know anything about this bike?

Looks like a great spec for the price, but very wary of ordering something without seeing it first or any reviews
Anyone shed any light on if these are any good?0 -
thats a bargain and a bit different0

Did you get any further info on the Peugeot CR01, as I'm interested in it too and at the price quoted it seems too good to be true. Components look good just wonder about the frame and the set up ?0 -
Hi All, I have just bought the CR01 and am really pleased with it. It seems smooth and fast.... I am very pleased with it.0

quite simply it wont be a bad bike. it looks really different and has a degree of heratige about it. good groupset, wheels etc and i like the colours. what else can you get for that money? hey i know you could go to hafrauds and get a boardman just to be different
sometimes when a deal comes along you just need to take a leap of faith based on what you know at the time.0 -
Jpope5, did you buy it from Winstanleys s I notice they have stock at good prices. I am a bit hesitant to buy something unseen over the Internet without seeing it in the flesh and getting some advice from the 'salesperson' !0

Sorry for the slow reply. they are nice to deal with at Winstanley's but check the nuts and bolts before going out on it as they don't.
Ironically that is why I didn't go to Halfrauds. Really pleased with the bike.... My friend has one also and he loves his also.
Great Value for money..... JE James are another selling the CR 01 and they are also a big shop with a good reputation.0 -
Thanks for the reply, typically the bike now seems to be sold out- just my luck0
