Road bike maintenance

Christmas is coming and the kids want to know what I want.
Rather than them going out alone to buy me something cycle related that I don't really want or need, I'd prefer to give them an idea or two.
Considering the above, anybody got any recommendations for a good road bike maintenance book. Not wanting something uber technical, just a straight forward, easy to follow bike maintenance book.
Any ideas folks? :?:

as above. get the kids to get you something fun."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

tools and stands and accessory are more valuable than the flipping book. All of the repair or maintenance can be found on web and youtube. with a bit of lateral thinking and problem solving you shouldn't need a book to tell you how to disassemble a bike and put it back again. It is not complicated but you obviously need the right tools.
so get a chain tool and a few KMC missing links; tyre levers; cassette tool and chainwhip; a decent brush and some degreaser and chain/cassette lub...off you go...oh a set of allen keysRoad - Cannondale CAAD 8 - 7.8kg
