Entry level womens road bike recommendations

I am looking for an entry level womens road bike for my wife for Christmas.

Previously I've paid very little attention to womens bikes. I was considering a Giant Avail from Winstanleys, however I have found a bike called the Whistle Win on ebay for £489 and can find very little information online apart from a favourable first ride report:

Does anyone have any experience of this bike or any alternative recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Keep paying little attention to them and just buy a regular bike that fits and change the saddle, seat post, stem etc if necessary.

Women specific bikes tend to add a premium for very minor changes (as listed) and pink/purple bits.
    Yellow is the new Black.
