Hi All,

Anyone have first hand experience of the 2012 Dedacciai Scuro RS (Athena)?

My insurance company are offering this as the equivalent bike to my Wilier Izoard (2010) Athena that was stolen. They will swap the wheels to Fulcrum Racing 3's for no extra charge.

If I except then I feel that I am taking all the risk as I have never ridden the bike and therefore no idea whether I am going to like it.

If I take the cash then I get £800 less than I paid for the Wilier.

It's a long shot but has anyone ridden the Dedacciai?

Many thanks.

Not much use, but I'd insist the insurance company do a like for like replacement
  • I love my Scuro RS (Record 10), but have never ridden the Izoard, so I can't compare. The only challenge is the integrated seatmast makes shipping a challenge if you travel.
  • Many thanks for the responses - much appreciated. Good to hear you love you bike timgiardina, I'll have a grown up conversation with the insurance company and test my negotiating skills. Thanks again.
