27 Inch wheels - parts?

Just picked up a nice hack for the missus

Its a few years old, but looks to be in great nick and looks like it even has original tyres on it, but it has now dawned on me that it comes with 27inch wheels.
Where would be the best place to get spare tubes and tyres for this? I was keen to put on something extremely puncture proof and get her a few spare inner tubes.
Where should I look and what can people recommend?
