I have what I think is a Horace Bates frame from around the 1940/50s. I wondered if anyone here is a real bike geek here who might know what size bottom bracket is required for it?
You can see the bates here: http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/bu ... bates.html
Thanks

  • I have a 1950s Claud Butler and it's standard ISO or what it's also called British Standard... I think yours should be the same... just try to screw a modern BB on and see if it fits... Drive side screws in anticlockwise, I assume you know that...
