Hi,

I'm after a light, or ideally just a Cateye compatible bracket, to mount on a streamliner DLX rack. It appears to have two holes approx. 20mm apart vertically for this purpose but having not had a rack with light bracket mounts before I'm not sure exactly what's required here. Some Googling has left me none the wiser - clearly I'm searching for the wrong thing!

Any pointers would be great!

Cheers,
Steve

  • Smart do a rack fitting for their rear lights. The bolts can be fitted vertically or horizontally as pictured

Thanks for the reply - I think I'm just going to have to order something and see if it fits the rack. I assumed there must be some kind of standard fitment.

  • The standard for rack was always the 50 or 80mm horizontal pitch for lights like the Busch & Muller Toplights. The vertical pitch on the Smart bracket matches the standard mudguard fitting. I'll send some dimensions in the morning
