Bont - Love them or Hate them?

I'm not in need of buying advice, as have bought a pair of A2's. But I do need some advice as to what I'm finding after swapping over from narrow fitting Sidis...
I've popped them in the oven once, not really noticed anything different TBH. So might need to try again?
1/Heel arch rubs on my Achilles, not quite blistering, but sore whilst riding.
2/Numb feet at the front of the foot! Deffo not got the straps or ratchet too tight.
3/ Sweaty Insoles when taken off after a ride. Socks not particularly dry.
I know shoes are personal, but if anybody rides Bonts & has suffered the above, any suggestions as to any fixes? If they're not going to get comfortable in a few more rides, I'll have to look elsewhere...

I love my A3 wide fits because I really struggled to get shoes wide enough.

Mould them again - you can do it as many times as you like - if neccesary push the bit(s) that rub out with the round end of a screwdriver handle (as suggested on the Bont website) or mould them in some other way so they don't rub.
2/Numb feet at the front of the foot! Deffo not got the straps or ratchet too tight.
I got this but it has decreased as I have got more used to them - I put this down to the soles being absolutley rock hard with no give at all - I fitted a pair of Sorbothane insoles instead of the stock ones which are really not worth a f**** !
3/ Sweaty Insoles when taken off after a ride. Socks not particularly dry.
Is that not just a sign of effort ? To be honest I am glad mine are not too ventilated as its serioulsy cold most of the time (and rarely ever warm enough to enjoy) where I ride. Have you tired merino socks I hear great things about their breathability and warmth?

I'm tempted by their wide fit... I presume you had to order the wide fitment specially? was it a pain?0 -
Yes I ordered mine and it was dead easy - once I found the right website. I measured my feet using the guide on the website, paid by PayPal and the communication with customer service was great. I could check exactly tomorrow where I ordered from and how long they took if u want Ali but as far as I remember they took about a fortnight to come and overall cost was about the same as uk prices even with the postage.0

If you look elsewhere, check out the Giro Factors - available for 135 posted at the moment. Red/White version and have absolutely rave reviews.0

I had to sell my Vaypors. It was like wearing a correction device. Toe box to low, arch too high, rubbed my Achilles Apart from that they were fantastic. Yes Factors are much easier to wear.Pegoretti

I bought some 2012 Specialized S-Works recently. They rub my achilles as well, which annoyed me to start with until I remembered that my old Specialized shoes were the same until the wore in and have been perfectly comfortable since. I would give that a bit of time to see if it sorts itself out.0

I love mine.
Wore them a couple of times before moulding them, which gave me the chance to see where needed stretching etc.Stumpjumper FSR 09/10 Pro Carbon, Genesis Vapour CX20 ('17)Carbon, Rose Xeon CW3000 '14, Raleigh R50
