Hi anyone made or brought one...
looking at a 11 speed 11--27 , on the front 34-50.
would it work !!!
It will be for my trip to the alps !!

You can get 11 speed 12-27 with compact 34-50 stock, you're really not going to need that 11T sprocket much if at all.

do I need more links in the chain or will it do it !!
going from 11 -- 25 to a 12 -- 27
50/34 upfront
chain only 70 miles old

You don't need more links in the chain otherwise it'll be too long, assuming you already have the chain as long as it can go. How much more spring does the RD have when in the 50-25 combination?

just tried 50-25 combination
can pull chain up about an inch
in 50 - 25 RD hangs about 7 o clock !!
