I know it's an addiction, the carbon zaskar and the element 50 were nice bikes gutted I sold them afterwards. I'm the same with motor's as well
My lbs is a good friend he looks after me as we'll0 -
I don't get people who change bikes so often, I've been riding for 9 years now and have had 3 bikes, some people on here seem to have 3 different bikes every week!!0

I agree - I started riding in 2002 on an old Raleigh. Bought a Merlin Malt 2 Christmas 2002, crashed it and wrecked it within 4 months, replaced with a Rock Lobster, ripped mech hanger off (steel frame took out most of the dropout) wihtin anoth 3-4 months replaced with Cove Handjob in late 2003 which I still have. I have had a Patriot and currently have an old Heckler and a Big Hit both of which I plan to sell for a new AM bike next summer. Cove still with me and will be indefinitely as far as I can tell!Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

I know wht you mean, I had a Claud butler cape wrath, lasted me 2 years before I started to reach its limit, then built my maxlight in late 2006, after nearly 5 years of abuse I bought the HD and the maxlight has only just been replaced by a carbon 456. I don't see how you can get the most of or learn everything about a bike if you only have it for a matter of months, I'm set for the next few years atleast as far as trail/am bikes go!!0 -
Tbh most of those bikes I had either I didn't get on with them, bored or wanted sum thing better and better specced,
Also recently crossed over to full suss as used to prefer HT,
however most of the lads I ride with we're using full suss at the time so decided to switch over to full suss after a few rides the HT at the time carbon zaskar was sold in favour if the Goose teocalli comp.
And stayed full suss ever since.0
