Requirements are:
Black
Light

Got my list down to 3:

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/raleigh-sp-comp-105-2012/

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/felt-f5-105-2012/

Which one would you choose?

I've had a go on a Raleigh, was very nice, but I'm probably going to go for the Felt just because its half a kilo lighter... Not sure on the weight of the Prorace, or anything about it really, if I could find a positive review I could be swayed that way...

Sorry, should've said - my budget is up to £1000k ex VAT (so basically £1200) - a quick google says the Sensa is a little over what I can afford :-( Looks nice though.

I considered the Ridley - but the sizing looks all off for me - I'm 178cm tall with inseam of 82cm.

Liking the felt. I like the apex f6 model
  • How much is the Canyon Ultimate AL? Think you can get a 105 version for around a grand? Or is it the Campag Athena model?
These are very well specced, light and available in like a charcoal black colour...
Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!

How about a nice all Italian setup?

    Gets good reviews.

Lombardia is £1230 - look down the sofa for some change....

Thanks for all your ideas and help.

I went for the Felt in the end, its pretty much what I wanted - a really light frame and forks - the wheels I can upgrade in a couple of months (and put the original wheels on my other bike). I'm sure I'll write a gushing review soon.

Didn't want to wait around for Ribble, and playing with the bike builder and being indecisive about parts was starting to make my RSI flare up - plus to get what I wanted there would've cost me a bit more than I had to spend ;-)

Because I kept the cost down a bit I also treated myself to some new lights, shoes, pedals, mudguards, tubes and gloves :-)

    Happy times!
