Hi
I have a Specialized Aluminium Secteur frame with Carbon forks (same geometry as the Roubaix) that I plan to sell because I now ride with a lower position.

XXL (61cm), effective top tube is 600mm, headtube I think is 245mm. (I’m 6ft 4)
Its been used between September 2010 and March 2012 (18 months), probably around 2000-2500 miles.
Condition is good. A few minor scratches but no dents or crash damage.
Comes with headset

I guess I’ll just stick it on ebay but does anyone have a rough idea what this would go for? You rarely see these sold as frame only so its hard to gauge.

Its not a great frame.. and its an odd size..

but put it on the bay and chances are you'll get more than its worth.

You can get a whole new Secteur for ~£650, so for the frame only that's more than two years old and with some cosmetic blemishes, I don't know, maybe £100-150?

    That's a bit of a guess though.

I would advertise it as an ideal winter/training frame. Still not worth much though...£100 ish

I don't think so. Evans and Hargroves for example stock the bottom of the range one at £650. Maybe in a sale for a previous years' model perhaps?

Many thanks. If I get £100 i'll be happy, it will make a good winter bike for someone. it got me back into cycling after a 15 year lay off so for that I'm grateful. I've got a roubaix as well (also probably going to be sold). Yes the roubaix is lighter and stiffer but I can't say the difference is huge. Alu does have a place but I'm going to get myself one of these ribble 525 steel frames for £250 inc fork. Perfect for winter without the worry off falling off and ruining an expensive carbon job. I just miss steel.....unless planet x come out with a titanium job that fits me, then I'll have to hit the piggy bank.
