Hey,

I want to upgrade my calipers and have seen the trp carbons which are quite pricey but very light and stiff. I just wondered what alternatives are around that people know of?

cheers

I was tempted by the Zero Gravity ones in my weight weenie days (I'm largely recovered now thanks) but I always stopped short of doing the brakes. The lightweight ones never work as well as dura-ace and I decided that it was bonkers to risk crashing for the sake of saving 80g or whatever it is these days.

If you've got money to burn and just must have carbon check out the ax-lightness ones. They are eye wateringly expensive though

if you simply want to save a bit of weight, the planet-x cnc brakes are worth a look...

The TRP960's are very light and perform well too.
