Campag chain questions
New bike is coming with campag kit on it and ive got a couple of questions on the campag 11 speed chain as i know a few things are different around tooling etc
1 - I always carry SRAM power links for my shimano chains as these have saved me when out on my MTB several times, is their an equivilent for a campag 11 speed chain?
2 - If no the above can i use a Shimano 11 speed chain instead?
3 - I have a couple of basic chain splitters for shimano chains, can i still use these? One is in my tool box that i guess i will need for the first time fitting of the new chain (bike doesnt come assembled) and the other is a tiny one for use out on road if i get a snap. So need to make sure im carrying the right stuff.
Cheers

check it actually has a campag chain. These are expensive and require specialist tools.
I'm not sure if an equivalent powerlink is available.
It may have a KMC 11 speed chain or similar on it. Assuming it's an 11 speed powerlink, it should get you home with any chain........0 -
I use a KMC 11 speed 'missing link' with my Campag 11 speed chain rather than paying the stupid money for the Campag tool and I've not had any problems with it at all and I used a regular chain splitter rather than an 11 speed specific one when I needed to shorten it when first fitting it.'Hello to Jason Isaacs'0
