My Specialized shoes @ size 45 fit a treat, and when I first got them I tried on others that weren't great. The time has come to replace them, and I'm far from suitable LBSs and need to go mail order.

Can anyone who also likes a Specialized 45 recommend other shoes of other brands that fit as nicely?

Just bought the speccy bg expert from my local lbs in their sale, needed a 45 as 44 speccy was just a little tight across toes, tried on shimano ro87 would need a 45, louis gaerne xr3 would need a 46

IME the fit varies eithin a manufacturer not just between them as they sometimes use different lasts between models. Roughly speaking though my experience is Shimano/Mavic/Sidi are a narrower fit than Specialized and Northwave/Time are about the same.

I bought Specialized a few weeks ago. I tried on a Pair of Shimano at the same time (same size, 45) and found them to be a much narrower fit, if that helps.
