swaping wheels
Hi ya a bit unsure..
Can I just swap rear wheels over without changing the chain ( told new cassette new chain !! )
I have campy anthena 11 speed 11 - 25 at the moment.
But was thinking of maybe having a 12 - 27 For hilly sportives ..... then change back.As long as the chain fits.
Wot do u think / do ...
all help thanks upfront....

It depends on the relative wear of the chain and cassette.
New Chain - New Cassette = Fine
Worn Chain - Worn Cassette = Fine (they wear together)
New Chain - Worn Cassette = Bad
What you were told is true but only to an extent. Swap wheels after 1,000 miles to a set with a new cassette and it should be fine, try it at 5,000 miles and you'll have shifting problems.0 -

Now need to change my shimano 10 sp hub to a campy 11 speed.
