Have you worked out how much you've lost on things you buy on a whim? You could have just had several S-Works bikes and have done with it.

Wheels: DT240, Crest (or Alpine) rims and your choice of spoke. Or... As you look at your bike more than ride it ActionSports have a good deal on 190s on Podiums. Dunno what you weigh, but they're not designed to be durable. That said I've been impressed with mine. 32psi max pressure and 76kg weight limit.

Ralphs are a perfectly competent in tyre in anything but the deepest mud, which you don't seem to ride round you, so you'll be fine!

CX-Ray spokes are a waste of money, if they're included then so be it, but don't pay extra. Not a hugely light combo either.

These are a great price, or these. Personally I'd choose either before the Superstar ones.

Nice one mate , how come ya look at German website ? Is it cheaper over there ?

For certain things they are, notably Shimano stuff and Schwalbe tyres. But Action Sports often has really good prices on wheels. Those DT 190 wheels are cheaper than just buying the hubs over here.

Unless CRC or Merlin have a serious offer on, I hardly buy from the Uk anymore, the German sites are so much cheaper it's unreal, especially as Njee says for shimano and schwalbe, which is nice cos I swear by those 2 brands, great product at great prices!!! :D

You can't ride anywhere very muddy if you call racing Ralph's winter tyres  they wouldn't get five yards on my trails and you can forget about stopping on some of the steeper trails!!

I didn't say they were winter tyres, I said they're perfectly competent. Hardly a glowing review! They're much more capable than folk give credit for though.

I'd not bother with anything more for any of the Welsh trail centres I've ridden (or many of the English ones) for a start! Alright round me too, which is plenty muddy enough. They struggle in really sticky mud as they just clog, but if it's wet they're not too bad.
