Nope, red would look better. But then I don't think the wheels or the gold bits go either :-)

How do you find those little blue rubber bungs on the cables to stop damage? are they worth buying or just stick to the heli-tape?
Love the look of the bike (except for the gold skewers-go red)
Constantly trying to upgrade my parts. It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.

The blue pipe is my old surplus boost gauge pipe, it's silicone so doesn't rub at all.

Did you take a knock to the head whilst not wearing a helmet?! Why anyone in their right mind would think the gold looked than the red ones is beyond me

Stick to red, black and white, the gold really, really, no seriously, doesn't work.

As individual pieces they look great, Tune make a 15mm axle for fox forks which is stunning, but imo the colours just seem to clash abit too much. Hey if you're happy with it though... :P

Well the post man dropped of a crc parcel decided to go tubeless as never gone down that route before.
What a mere to seal as the valves weren't seating correctly on the crank bros. eventually the popping was heard and all was good,

The 'popping' isn't necessarily the end of your 'mare'! Mine needed pumping and shaking a few times (tyres  ), before they sealed properly. That was on DT Swiss rims, but the Stan's Crest's sealed first time

Yeah took the bike for a spin to get the sealant moving, there still inflated just checked all good.

Happy with the weight as well not going silly light.

I was looking at those Superstar QR's ... do they seem sturdy enough?
  • I ordered a rear one for my new build, and it seems very good right now, but that is just based on putting it on the bike. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet as the bike isn't built.
