After splitting the old Trek ex9 and selling 90% of parts decided to build another project in favour of a Xc race orientated.

Decided it was in need of sum bling so ordered sum parts...
First of Thomson elite seat pin was removed and sold
Wheels were taken of and the old pro 2 Evo were fitted from the trek.
Also the rotors were removed as these are centre locks.
Crank removed .
Saddle removed again
Bars removed0 -

I think he's referring to the choice of wheel......Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

They have had some reliability issues though....Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Yeah I've read that the early models did with rear hubs failing quite early.
They roll super smooth, worse case if I don't get on with them I will go for the SLR'S, however at the mo I've got no concerns with them.0 -
Why use SLRs? You can build a lighter, MUCH more reliable set of wheels for less money. Just don't get factory wheels.0
