Felt F5 or Ribble Sportive?

So I am a mountain biker who is wanting their first road bike. I was all set on a Ribble Sportive with 105 groupset which comes in at £1150

Then the Felt F5 comes in the sales at wiggle for £990

Both Carbon, both 105 groupset

Which is best or are they pretty similar?

I dont want a really aggressive race bike but nothing too slouchy either i.e. looking for a bit of comfort on longer rides.

Advice and opinions please!

Based on what you just said i would go Ribble. The R872 and Grand Fondo are also meant to be fairly comfy and personally i prefer the look over the Sportive and Bianco. I think the Felt is pretty head down agressive looking at the geo.
  • Cool thanks. And yes I agree... the Ribble does look prettier
