Morning All,
I have just been offered from a fellow rider a set of Shimano C50 wheel sets but without cassette. I currently have a TCR Advanced 02 2012 with 105 setup. I am just wondering if it will be a simple things such as getting a 105 -10spd hub and fitting it to the C50 wheel set.
Or what other cassette i could possible use another cassette such as a ultegra or dura ace cassette.

i am trying to cut cost as bike shop near me is more bmx and mountain bike and charging me an arm and leg for simple service($300) and bike fit($500), and still don't fit right. I am mechanically minded but don't have the tech background for this area.

Thanks in advance Paul.

Your current 105 cassette will fit the C50 wheels no problem.

  • I bought a set of these about a month ago now and am running them with a 10sp 105 cassette. Just make sure you have the 10speed spacer in place before putting the cassette on - there is likely to be on on the set of wheels you already have the cassette on.
