Hey,
I tried my usual one which is not as thick as some and my helmet does not quite go all the way on..
Are there ones available that are quite thin that would fit and enough to keep the wind chill away when its cold?
cheers

I use one of these, from NZ. It's rather good, very thin too. http://www.groundeffect.co.nz/product-d ... EA-ACC.htm0

Btw OP, most skull caps (not 'beanies') will fit under helmets fine, but some 'winter hats' won't, too thick.
Best one I have had, and I've had a lot, is the Assos stinger, very nice0 -

I'm a fan o the ground effect one too. Probikekit do a good one and cheap polypropylene skullcap is not bad for milder days... Clearly I have no hair....0

Rapha's merino beanie....best I've tried (inc Assos skull cap). Wait for the Winter sale if you can.Never mistake motion for action

My Endura BaaBaa beanie fits under the helmet just fine! Would really recommend them for cold winter days.

I use an altura skull cap, no experience in using beanies for bikes.0

Or Rapha's Winter hat which has a peak to keep the sun out of your eyes. Mine fits under my giro atmos.0

+1 to this. Mine fits under my helmet just fine with a bit of minor adjusting to straps. The Rapha winter hat however would not, for me.0 -
Ive narrowed it down to either an endura or polaris skullcap and ive read that some caps dont cover ears quite as well as they should.. i guess its just a case of trying them0
