You won. Now pay the money.
It's not the sellers fault you failed to research it beforehand.
As joshvoulters said, you've entered into a contract to buy it now, but you may be able to arrange something with the seller - maybe a reduction or withdraw your bid. They're not obliged to do anything however.
On a positive note - I bet you don't see anyone else riding one! must be pretty rare over here.
btw it's bought, not brought.
Cheers
You want to use that as a winter bike?
The poor bike - it's lovely. It deserves a caring owner. Let someone else have it. Get yourself a Carrera from Halfords.....
It's not really an audacious margin. The vendor sold it. If it was an audacious margin, it wouldn't have sold. A second hand object is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I can't for the life of me work out why there is any reason that someone who buys something at a very good price is somehow obligated to the next purchaser to pass some of that discount on. There are no rules that you are only allowed to make a certain percentage profit on any trade.
Ami I ripping people off? No not at all, because I buy the bike at the price that the vendor is willing to sell at and I sell the bikes at the price that other buyers are willing to pay - it's simply business.
The chap who bought the bike originally may put hours of work sourcing the bikes themselves along with the additional time involved in buying/selling.
You've got yourself a sweet looking bike - but clearly could have bought it cheaper had you sourced it from France originally. Lesson learned!
The eBay seller looks as though he's listed a number of them and obviously he's doing quite well out of it all.
It's the way of the world - people buy goods for a price and sell them on to make a profit.

Lol! Possibly one should insist on a full record of all sales of a used item before purchasing it. I mean, what if the person before the person before the person before the person before you made a huge profit on it? If you didn't have the record, you'd never know you were being ripped off!
That chap sells quite nice bikes though I can't see him getting £245 for a Pug Mixte here - Mixtes are just sadly not worth enough here.
And thanks for the grammer lesson ;-)
next people will start saying quickness instead of speed
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.
That was the joke hence the ;-)
+ time and parts to clean up and test. Who knows what needed fixing etc.
fair play to him I say. It looks better in his pics than the french one.
