Hi all, here are some pics of my new Ariel 14x. I brought the frameset and then added a mix of new kit and bits off my old bike to make this! So far I am very pleased with the results. Next on the shopping list is a dropper post :D

never heard of this model before, so obviously know nothing about it, that's one good looking bike, very nice build you've done there :D

Thanks mate, appreciate that. I got the frameset as it gets really good reviews, but its amaizing how few of them I have seen when out riding etc!
  • Thought I had best show the Ariel after a recent ride, and not looking like a garage queen!

I rode one of the first production Ariels in the country a few years back and it was a good bike, though I found it a touch cramped and rather weighty, seems like they've done improved it since then, that looks rather nice!
  • Cheers Lawman, i like it and how it looks. Plus it has all the bits to make it future proof for now.
Im sure its still not the lightest around, but the missus wouldnt let me get a carbon frame! My mate has a 2011 Yeti 575 and they are the same weight.
  • That looks good! You wouldn't believe it was a Saracen... A couple of little gold features up front would balance it out nicely
