Anyone been up the Cut Gate route recently?

Thinking about going this weekend, but if it's a thick bog it becomes a tad fruitless!

Was a bog the last 2 times I've done it and we've had loads of rain since :D Well when I say a bog the middle section that's nearly always a mess was...a mess.Mickledon edge was good but Cutgate proper/Margery Hill and the descent into Cranberry Clough were very claggy.
I'm 10 mins away and would probably leave it until it's been dry for a couple of weeks...still good fun though.
There's more rain forecast between now and the weekend so the prognosis isn't good :D
  • i did a loop of ladybower and an out and back on cutt gate last saturday, conditions were fine except for the wind, all the usual rideable bits were still rideable. i've seen it a lot worse in summer!
