How do carbones hold up for heavy riders? Say up to 100kgs?

Looking to trade up my cosmic elites but dont want to do it if the carbones are for skinny guys

cheers.

  • They are not for skinny guys and they are probably among the most robust deep section wheels out there... they are basically a set of Ksyrium with some reinforced plastic wings glued to the rim.
Second hand only if the price is good (i.e. less than half RRP) as you have no warranty and any problem will be a hefty bill

Same here! i'm not fat, just layered.

I've got a six-pack, it's just covered by a 2 inch fat cycling gillet
  • When I got mine, the guy in the shop made a comment about them not having a weight limit. Now I think about it, he might have been trying to say I was fat!
