Does anybody know if I'll be able to run a standard SRAM 52/39 chainset and rear mech with a 32t cassette?

For a 32 cassette you will need the wifli rear mech, as I believe the standard mech is only 27/28 max

Barrzy is correct. WiFli is new for Rival, SRAM are now doing a Rival Climbers Kit to allow easy conversions to 11-32. Interestingly it includes a 11-32 PG-1050 Cassette (Apex) rather than PG-1070 (Rival).

  • Oof - that's going to add a few quid to the biker price, but I think it makes more sense than getting a compact chainset and then having to swap it for racing.

    Thanks for your help.
