  • yep, they do...you have to book, then leave driving licence/passport, as well as a credit card (I think they actually process a transaction, then refund it when you come back, but can't remember clearly)

You pay for the bike and test ride it.

They then refund your money if you don't buy.

The money leaves your account in seconds and takes 3 days to come back...

So if you want to try a few bikes, your credit card might not be flexible enough!? Seems rather odd to me, but then I guess they are allowing you to test ride brand new bikes that will be sold on to you or someone else...guess its not practical to have a stock of trial bikes in every size.

Just rang up and they allow for test rides.
Full payment made to card and then refunded when returned

I also queried what happens to the bikes as they will end up being used and as demo

They said it gets cleaned up etc. so in theory you could end up buying a demo bike at full price?

Same thing happens when you test drive a car. My Foil was the demo at Epic. They didn't want to sell it to me even though I was the first and only person to ride it, but I insisted as I didn't want to wait a few days for them to build a new one.
