Anyway. Who'da thunk there were so many fine photographers on a cycling forum!0 -
I don't have many I'm particularly pleased with, but here are a few:
Fountains Abbey:
Snowdon at Dawn (New Years Eve I think it was) I'd love to see this one HDR'd
and the one I love to show off, Applecross Pass:
Oh, and one more just 'cos it's daft:
Note the hedge at the bottom of the shot... the Tornado was basically over that when I took the shot.Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

No not quite that close - I'm off Belper Road at the top end of the park.
I should add - there are some stunning shots on this thread.

Ah, the Cwm.... are you local to the area and how's the security there these days (if any)?
From Bristol so only about 45 minutes away. We didn't encounter any at all. Just an angry Welshman shouting at us as we left the site!0 -
Loads of these are ace, I'm feeling rather inadequate!0

It is very fun but please please PLEASE take my advice if you do go:
1. DO NOT go alone
2. Be very careful as this place is FULL of hidden dangers. Big hidden pits of stagnant water, chemicals, sharp rusting metal, decaying concrete and metal steps (the first set of steps i went up had lots of steps given way), very high places etc etc
3. Have fun0 -

That's exactly what I thought it looked like!
To explain how that happened: it was -8C at the time... yep we walked up Snowdon at Dawn and it was -8. The ground was covered in hoar-frost and when the sun broke over the hills everything lit up bright orange and red. It was stunning to see.
Here's another taken from the same spot:
Looking over Llyn Llydaw right at the sun as it cleared the hills
Oh, and I forgot one:
This is the A5 looking North towards the Ogwen Valley - that lake got no Sun at all (this is taken at Midday) and it is completely frozen over.Chunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

I worked as a sports photographer for a number of years. Stringing for various agencies and picture desks. One of the blokes sat behind the goal/posts etc documenting other peoples lives, living in a hotel on your own, travelling up and down realising that I had no images of my life so to speak ! Hard drives full of random images under the bed...!

Lovely picture Ben, was it taken from your phone?0

Thanks mate.
No, I took it using my Pentax Optio W60. It's a good little camera; dust-proof and water-proof (to 4m) so it's a good choice for travelling/backpacking!Ben

One more for now - this was an opportunist shot while out cycling on a cold November morning. Nothing special, but I think the sky looks stunning.
