Muc-Off Ceramic Lube Question

I cleaned the bike a couple of days ago, and fully de-greased the chain and applied some Muc-Off Ceramic lube as directed on the bottle. As it was such a nice day up in Scotland yesterday I headed out on the bike and covered 106miles The roads were a bit wet due to the overnight dew/frost so the bike was in a right state when I got back. The chain had gone really black and sticky, with what appeared to be quite a lot of grit stuck to it.
I've cleaned the bike again, and have given the chain a wipe down, with the help of a little spray of Muc-Off bike cleaner ... will I have to re-lube the chain again, or should the ceramic lube still be there ?

I've gone off those heavy lubes, just seem to collect dirt way too fast. I am currently trying out Boeshield and it seems a decent halfway between a dry and wet lube, just have to apply it more often.0
