hey guys,
hadn't checked this for updates for a while,
the rotor bolts are actually rainbow coloured! they are titanium aswel, they are indeed from ebay, a really helpful chap called steve but goes by the username on ebay of ti-bon-uk if memory serves, he does caliper bolts aswel as a few other tweaky bits. the cable end caps are actually jagwire ends, but running shimano cable inners and outers. shimano outers work best but i wanted some little bling bits to match with the hubs otherwise they would have been the only gold parts, i'm not usually one for bling but i wanted the metal finish on the frame and i was originally gonna have the standard royce hubs in silver but when i decided to go for the racing gold royce hubs i felt it needed the other small gold parts
the underside of the downtube is indeed for a crud catcher, this bike is designed purely for the typical UK riding we have!
for the record this got its first ride a few weeks ago up on Long Mynd near Shrewsbury with the Retrobike guys, since then it has been out a few times, and i can report that it rides lovely!! i did a little vid from a quick trip to the Isle of Wight, unfortunately the battery died but here's what i got

not particularly ground breaking filming but a bit of fun xc, i was gutted when the gopro battery died, i was just filming my favourite bit of trail when it cut out :roll:0 -
