hi all i do a fair bit of running and have a garmin 405 gps watch. does any one use one of these on there bike and how does it perform. or should i ditch the cateye strada and get the edge 500. was thinking use watch on runs and bike saving some cash

    I use my 305 all the time for both and it's great.

    Depends on how much you like crashing! I'd get a watch bar mount. I'd imagine they cost little. I tried using a GPS watch on my wrist once. It wasn't ideal!

  • I use a 410 with speed cadence sensor - I have taken a piece of pipe lagging foam and taped it to my bars with black insulating tape. Sounds a bit naff but looks ok and the garmin bar mounts for a tenner is not much better.
