Sora 3400 rear mech advice

I've seen a good deal on a sora 3400 rear mech.
In the description on CRC, it says it will work with a minimum of 11 teeth and max of 27 teeth.
My cassette is 11-28 and I have a dual ring up front on my carrera gryphon. Would this still work ok?
