I currently have a Garmin forerunner 200 which i have been using and though its a fantastic watch it isnt very good for cycling with.
So now looking for a proper bike computer, budget is around £100-150) if need be il go second hand.
Needs to be a garmin as i really like the whole setup of them.(unless there really is something that much better/value)
Needs to have candence sensor included
Has ability to pickup my ANT+ heart rate monitor(garmin one )
Distance,speed ect
GPS though dont need any sort of mapping just so when i get home can review my route ect.
I thinking about the garmin 200 though not sure if has enough info (my forerunner tells me, Avg speed,Distance,Heart rate/toggle elapse time) so want something that tells me at least that plus cadence.

Garmin 500 http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/2336/garmin-edge-500--010-00829-00- you'd need to get the cadence sensor as extra though http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/1451/garmin-speed-cadence-bike-sensor-gsc-10--010-10644-00- and that's assuming your HRM is compatible with it which it should be.
I've got a Garmin 200 I use on my commuter which maps my ride when I get home and upload it but it just does the basics ie. speed, distance, time and calories. The 200 doesn't do heart rate or cadence.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

yer the 500 looks like the best bet then.
i ordered from handtec before and they usually good so probably go with that then, cheers.
How easy is the candence sensor to set-up ie will it work on my Canyon SLX as the wheel spokes are flat...London2Brighton Challange 100k!

Bryton 40 - cracking unit after some functional issues which are now sorted. Much neater than the Garmin 500 with a little more functionality irrc. eg here with HRM and Cadence - http://www.evanscycles.com/products/bry ... e-ec035459. Basic unit is £110 for Evans so about £140 with cadence bought separately.
Cheaper still is the Bryton 20 - even smaller than the 20 (barely bigger than a conventional computer) the display is less configurable and there is no breadcrumb trail navigation but it is still ANT+ cadence and HRM compatible. £90 gets you the basic unit and about £30 more an ANT cadence monitor.Faster than a tent.......0
