Trouble deciding which bike...

Finding it hard to decide which bike to buy.

At first it was a toss up between the Trek Madone 3.1 and the Giant TCR Composite 2, I was hoping to have a look at both a few weeks back but other commitments got in the way. Now after browsing I'm also quite taken by the 2013 Giant Defy 2.

It's also been suggested by a colleague that because I currently commute on a MTB, a Boardman Pro, and there's some light trail/gravel tracks depending on which way I commute that a cyclocross bike might be a good idea.

Anyone else find it as hard when making a new purchase or are you just as indecisive as me?

Go and test ride both and you'll be in a much better position to make that decision, it's all in the ride imo, not just what looks pretty ....

You will get a load of different advice about each bike, then some will wade in with their choice, but at the end of the day do what Giant Man says and at the very least sit on them. You can rule some out just by sitting on them and knowing straight away if the geometry is right for you.

The only problem is finding stockists near where I live. The only large bike store I know of is Evans, near the metro centre and I don't think they stock Giant.
