My rear break clamp does not release after pressing the leaver and my front break squeaks when it is pulled in tightly, I have cleaned the rim and pad, I have also toed it correctly.

Would that be a tea break.
Lubricate all cables and pivots to make sure everything is free. Pad toe in is a waste of time and only increases pad wear as the toe in wears off first. Pads should be flush to the rim which they will be anyway after the first sh*tty ride. If the rim and pads are thoroughly clean then check the calliper has no free play in the pivots. If all else fails try a different make of pad. Koolstop Salmon are a very good all weather one.

Centre pivot / spring probably gunked up with road crud - clean and lubricate.
    Yellow is the new Black.
