as long as the chain isn't excessively worn it'll be finemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0

if it's the same model cassette then should be ok, but if it's a different make/model there can be enough difference to need a slight adjustment
the amount should be consistent so as long as you note how many clicks cw/ccw are needed the first time you can just repeat this whenever you change overmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -

When you say "note how many clicks", can you explain, please? Is that clicks on the shifters or elsewhere? Bit confused by that. Thanks.0 -
Yes - the range of the rear mech might not be enough. Partly depends on whether you chainset is compact or standard.
Why do you want an 11 tooth anyway?Faster than a tent.......0 -
ultegra 11-28's may need a 1mm spacer - if thats what you've got and the cassette wobbles a teeny bit then that'll be the prob. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -

It's not for me, mate. I've only ever changed my cassette but I've been asked to swap one for someone else.
Don't mind breaking my own bike, so to speak, someone else's though is a different matter0 -
