Odd sized wheels?

Hi all,

I tried to fit some new Gatorskins last night to both wheels (700c x 25) and found that the rear tyre was too large to sit in the rim. I tried both new tyres with the same problem and also tried the old front tyre to no avail; the only tyre that fits is the old rear (which is the one that really needs replacing).

All tyres are labelled up 622-25; I measured the diameter of the wheels and the rear is 5mm smaller than the front which would explain the issue I guess.

Basically I just want to check that I'm not missing something before I go ahead and buy a new rear wheel. The wheels are branded Sinuoman if that means anything to anyone.

Cheers,

Neil

well 622 is 700c so it should be fine.

LBS time to see what is going on.

if you do go new wheel check it will fit and not catch the frame.
