How worn are my cleats?

  • Pretty sure you’re ok. Manufacturer recommendation is that once the yellow bits are gone they are cactus
  • I have had my cleats for around 4 months and they look similarly worn.
    I have also wondered if they should be replaced. They dOnt always click in as easy as they did
    When new but the way I see it as long as they DO clip in they shouldnt need replacing.

  • Mine have about the same amount of wear and still work perfectly well. As long as they still work ok i wouldn't worry about it.

    They're totally fine. Like already said if they still have yellow corners at the rear they are usually fine.

    As an experiment a couple of months ago (when I didn't have any money) I ran mine right down - further than ever before so there was no yellow and they became hard to get in and would sometimes pop out. It took quite a while to get to that stage though - way past when I would normally replace them.
    I'm left handed, if that matters.
