Has anyone else had problems uploading courses to their Garmin since the new update?

It finds the device but then comes up with 'Unable to send course to device. Please try again later.'

Tried every browser, usb port ect... Has anyone got a work around?

Not impressed with my Garmin Edge 500 so far, it seems to have a 'can't be arsed' attitude when it comes to finding satellites or uploading to Strava/Garmin connect if you have more that half a dozen rides stored on it.

Is it just GPS devices? I seem to remember having the similar grief with my TomTom.

    Nope, works fine for me.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
  • Are you using firefox?

My workaround is to use Internet Explorer.

The exact same thing happened to me immediately after the Garmin Connect outage last week, raised a ticket. Nothing.

    Colin.
  • Same problem in firefox for me too, and the non contact from garmin support sounds familiar..works fine in Ie.

My only problem is with a corrupt ride file - I've deleted the file but it still thinks it's a new ride when I upload them to Garmin - I'll purge them all from the device shortly and start again.
Browsers used are Firefox, Safari or Chrome - all on a Mac.

have you checked the cable? its a fairly standard cable - so swap for another one?
