Hi everyone, newbie here with a problem. My wife has been given a Dunlop Sports bike which has 18 gear set up, the front gear cable needs replacing, it is operated by what I call the twist type operating system on the handle bar, please help if this is the wrong terminology, how do I replace the cable? any help would be much appreciated.

it depends on what the shifter is. some the cover come off some you need to undo a screw cover.

if you can not ID it post up a clear picture.

  • Thanks for your reply, Nick I managed to pull off the grip then teased off the twist grip and then I managed to replace the cable. Thanks again.
