Hi Guys
Picking up my first ever road bike tonight! Just a tad excited!!
I think I have most things, but haven't got any gloves, and haven't really thought about them. I've always been a mountain biker and the thought of having fingerless gloves seems a bit weird!!
But gotta look the part
Any suggestions on what I should get, or will any old pair do??
Cheers.

In short, anything will do, but you want decent padding on the palms to help stop any vibrations travellling up your arm. you can spend a fortune, but you don't need to, also loads of places are having sales on their clothing as awell as bikes at the moment so there are bargain to be had.

Have a look at the Prendas track mitts, cheap, great padding, job done. Pick up a few other essentials like arm warmers if you are new to the road and you're there on their website.

Loads of people love Prendas on here and I am sure they are a good retailer. When you are starting in this sport though its bloody expensive getting kitted so I always look for good value. When it comes to gloves I could not justify £25 for a pair of mitts.

Those ones always seem to get a lot of votes. I have some and a pair from Tenn

I find them adequate and effectively you can get two pairs for £20. Ebay probably has even cheaper.0
