N+1 has reared its head again ! I'm considering a Cross Bike. I want something for rainy day / winter commutes, that I can do some light off roading on. I.e. canal tow paths, forest trails, that kind of thing.

I'd like something with Disk Brakes, that can also take Full Mudguards to. Hub Gear appeals as it will reduce the amount of cleaning required during the winter.

This has caught my eye and about the budget I want to spend

But this I believe would also suit my needs.

As well as this

Anything else to consider. I have looked at the Boardman CX as well.
