i currently have an bianchi via nirone 7 2300 and have a couple of hundred quid to spend on an upgrade.
i was thinking about upgrading the frame, and wondering if this was the best way to invest,or wondering if would be better spent on a new wheelset. if i did get a new wheelset , am i going to feel much of a difference
i was looking at something like the fulcrum 5's or the rs30's
oppinions please

if you are happy with your fit then wheels are probably the better option0

Tyres, then wheels will make biggest difference, depending on what is on as standard. You can upgrade the group set from 2300 as and when bits wear out.
Nowt wrong with frame itself.Bianchi Infinito CV

I wouldn't go beyond upgrading tyres... your bike is worth less than 600 pounds as new and if you want a wheels upgrade you are looking at 250-300 pounds to make a difference which is not purely cosmetic... I think it is a disproportionate amount of money compared to the value of the bike. If you get really into cycling, chances are you will do so many miles that your groupset will wear off and you will be looking to a whole new bike.left the forum March 20230

But that's only because of the groupset and no doubt the other components. The same frame is available with a higher spec at up to £1250 so the frame itself does justify the investment.
As above though, I'd probably not both changing the wheels unless you are looking to spend ~£300 or more as you probably won't see a meaningful difference. At the £300ish mark thing like RS80s, Fulcrum 3s or Ksysium Elites start to be options if you shop around. Or even better if you buy second hand.0
