Spec Pitch rear shock

Looking to replace the original X-Fusion shock on my pitch comp.
Stroke on the original shock is 57mm. Will a 55mm shock work ok? Presumably it will lose a small amount of travel due to shorter shock stroke but not noticable.

    should be fine

    my shock on my FSRXC is slightly longer (0.25) than stock and i havent noticed any difference

    Dunno what the leverage ratio on them is but it could lose up to a cm travel from the 2mm stroke difference. Though i'd reckon about 5mm lost travel.
