Can anyone beat the Ribble winter bike for price?

With 105 it comes to around £850

I've heard that it's pretty good and reliable, all that you want for a winter training bike. I want to buy a new bike, are there any comparable options out there? There seem to be a few but they lack mudgaurd eyes

Cheers in advance

wouldn't waste money on 105 groupset on ribble winter frame- it's a £95 frame.Tiagra is plenty good enough for all weather use.Got one myself ( 4 years old now)and it is a good value machine.

Despite what many on here seem to do, there's nothing to stop you buying a frame and getting the shop to build whatever you want on it. The Moda frame is available on it's own, and you could get whatever you wanted on it to suit your needs.

Personally I'd look at the Ridley EOS. I ride one with guards and it rides and handles brilliantly. I think that you can get these as complete bikes as well.
