I have a great Smart light that you can see on the Moon. Shame it leaks like a sieve!

Can anyone recommend a light that wont let in water? I'm not bothered about spending more than £15, or if its only mediocre in its strength. I just dont want to totally knacker my Smart using on changeable days - I'll save it for when its dry and use the new one for the rest of the time.

NiteRider Cherry Bomb. Daft name but I've used mine 2 or 3 winters daily commuting without any problems - no bulb failures and very easy on the batteries whilst giving off a decent light. Pretty cheap too. What's not to like (other than the name!).

I find putting the smart lights on the radiator to dry out usually works when they get wet

There's water on the moon? How did your light get to the moon anyway? Cool!! Maybe you should speak to NASA.:lol:

Try putting a layer of Vaseline around the join on the SMART.

how about put some cling film over the light. Might look a bit crap but it would work wouldn't it?

Yes, tried that, and added duct tape too but still not enough to keep it dry!

    I can't recommend this set highly enough http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... fAod3woA9Q

The charger is the only weak link in my opinion but I've been using them for three years and they've been great.

Exposure lights are not cheap but are great. I've got the Flare on the back, got through last winter with no issues. Just make sure you get a rechargeable battery as the run time isn't brilliant and it takes CR123 (IIRC) instead of something more standard.
